These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of DataTyper, a Figma plugin and related services (“Service”). By using DataTyper, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Overview

DataTyper is a plugin for Figma that lets users organize mock data and apply it to text layers in Figma designs, including cloud-based datasets and integrations with third-party services such as Google Sheets.

The Service is provided by the DataTyper developer (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Eligibility and use

You may use DataTyper only if you:

• comply with these Terms
• comply with applicable laws and regulations
• use the Service only for lawful purposes

You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DataTyper solely for your own design and collaboration purposes within Figma.

You do not acquire any ownership rights to the Service, its code, branding, or documentation.

User content

You are solely responsible for any data, content, or information you create, upload, synchronize, or manage using DataTyper (“User Content”).

You confirm that:

• you have the necessary rights to use such User Content
• the User Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

We do not claim ownership over your User Content. We are not responsible for the loss, corruption or misuse of User Content.

Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt, or attempt to interfere with the Service
• reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• use DataTyper to store sensitive information such as passwords, API keys, or confidential personal data
• use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or malicious purposes

Third-party services

DataTyper may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including Figma and Google Sheets.

Your use of such third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or data practices of third-party services.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for:

• loss of data
• loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• design errors, inconsistencies, or workflow disruptions
• indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation is not permitted under applicable law.

Privacy and data protection

DataTyper processes a limited amount of user-related data necessary to provide the Service, such as identifiers required for authentication, dataset ownership, and synchronization features.

Where applicable, such data is processed in accordance with relevant data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

By using the Service, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if:

• these Terms are violated
• required by law
• necessary to protect the Service or its users

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that by nature should survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify users through the Service or documentation. Continued use of DataTyper after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
